Wednesday, September 27, 2006 - 12:00am Where There's Smoke, There's Fire Senator George Allen is digging his own grave. It seems that the racial slur he made on the campaign trail a month ago was just the tip of the iceberg. Senator Allen apparently has a long history of racism. Three of his college teammates at the University of Virginia have confirmed that Allen regularly used the 'N' word when referring to black people. One of those people, Dr. Shelton, also claimed that Allen stuck the head of a deer in a black family's mailbox after a hunting trip. According to Dr. Shelton, Allen was insistent on disparaging a random black family.
Put all of these incidents together, (I haven't even mentioned the Confederate flag stuff) and we learn that Senator George Allen is a racist prick. He is not fit to serve in the United States government and he is a disgrace to all Americans.
Even Allen's non-denial, denial is telling. When someone asks you whether you've ever used the 'N' word and you've never used it, you would state that emphatically. When your answer is "I don't remember if I've ever used that word", that means you've said it. It reminds me of when George Bush was asked if he had ever done cocaine and his answer was that he shouldn't have to answer the question. If you've never done cocaine and are asked about it, you will readily admit that you've never done it. The same is true for Allen's use of the 'N' word.
I don't care if you're a Republican or Democrat, there is no room for racism in this country or anywhere else. You might as well do us all a favor and shoot yourself in the head and make the world a better place.
