inventor of Flower Fairies is Cicely Mary Barker, an
illustrator who lived from 1895 - 1973. She was born
in the United Kingdom and followed the artist Kate Greenaway
as a young girl. This 2009 Flower Fairies calendar
show off the work she created during her lifetime. In
her life, she made the Flower Fairies famous. They
combine young children with apple blossoms and a whole host
of other items. The other 2009 Fairy calendar is a
different version. The mini-wall version is priced less as it is
significantly smaller than a wall calendar. It's great
for smaller spaces.
