One of
the great illustrators of the 20th century has been Kim
Jacobs. She began her career while still in college
and quickly began illustrating greeting cards.
Throughout the 1980's, she expanded her knowledge and by
1990, she created a calendar called 'Cobblestone Way'.
The 2013 Kim Jacobs calendars here show the 'Through My
Cottage' line and the 'A Place of My Own' theme. The
Cobblestone Way was also a huge hit and became an annual
occurrence. Traveling to many places, Kim Jacobs
became familiar with many sceneries and styles, as is
apparent in the illustration of these 2013 calendars.
Kim Jacobs has lived in many places, but eventually settled on
an estate in the quiet state of Maine. She continues
to paint and produce great work. |
