Louis L'Amour 2013 Calendars
A great
author of the American West was Louis L'Amour. He
lived from 1908 to 1988 and in his life, he wrote more than
100 books and sold hundreds of millions of copies. The
2013 Louis L'Amour calendar showcases some of his
favorite paintings with the frontier theme that he was
famous for. L'Amour was an American born in North
Dakota as the youngest of seven children. He began
writing in the 1930's, but went to fight in World War II in
the early 1940's. The Louis L'Amour 2013 calendars
feature three horses. Louis L'Amour's rise to fame began
in the 1950's and 1960's. In his life, he also receive
the Congressional Medal of Honor.
