British artist that was born in 1956, Mackenzie Thorpe is
one of the most original today. The oldest of eleven
children, he learned to grow up in a hurry, but always felt
the need and desire to draw. These 2013 Mackenzie
Thorpe calendars are a result of that need, as the drawings
here are brought to life. Thorpe went on to art school
in London and began selling his art soon thereafter.
His work is about life and about struggle, with his own
emotions and feelings often making their way onto his
canvas. The Mackenzie Thorpe 2013 calendars are a
culmination of some of his life's work. He continues
to live in the U.K. |
