They
were created in 1961 and were originally called the Los
Angeles Angels. They changed the team name to the
California Angels from 1966 - 1996 and then went with
Anaheim Angels from 1996 - 2004. Since that time, they
have been called the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. It
is one of the most confusing sports names in existence.
The 2008 Anaheim Angels calendars above don't care too much
about the name, but do care about winning. With
players like Vladimir, K-Rod, and Jered Weaver, they are
battling the A's for supremacy of the West division.
The 2008 Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim calendars do have the signature logo of the
'A'. That has not changed and has remained consistent
