Located
at 333 West Camden Street in Baltimore, Maryland is Oriole
Park at Camden Yards. Opened for ball on April 6,
1992, it has symbolized the beginning of a new era in
baseball parks, as many future stadiums modeled themselves
after this one. The 2013 Camden Yards calendar gives
you phenomenal shots of the field, the stands, and all parts
of the park. Seating capacity is 48,876 and although
it is not frequently sold out, Oriole fans still come out in
force to cheer on their team. It was also the site of
the 1993 All-Star Game in only their second year. The
B&O Warehouse on Eutaw Street is also a fixture in this
Camden Yards 2013 calendar. There are now twenty other
stadiums that were influenced by the design of Camden Yards.
With only 32 teams in Major League Baseball, it is safe to
say Camden Yards is the benchmark for all others to live by. |
