David Ortiz 2013 Calendars
|
Waived
by the Minnesota Twins after the 2002 season, Juice-Guy
David Ortiz was quickly picked up by Theo Epstein and the
Boston Red Sox. His career took off from there, with
mammoth seasons that brought two titles to the Red Sox after
a drought of 86 years. The 2013 David Ortiz calendar
features the Dominican slugger at his finest. He set
the Red Sox single season home run record in 2006 after
belting 56 home runs. Each month of the Big Papi 2013
calendar shows some of his best hits and swings. Only
34 years old, Big Papi David Ortiz should have a good 5-8 years
left to play. He is up to 289 career home runs and 969
runs batted in. Papi is best known for his amazing
hits in the clutch. Most notably were his hits in
extra innings during the 2004 ALCS to beat the hated New
York Yankees and lead his team from an 0-3 deficit to a 4-3
series victory. |
