Fenway Park 2009 Calendars

Opened in 1912 in the Fens section of Boston, Fenway Park is now the oldest park in the major leagues.  The seating capacity had been around 33,000 - 34,000 for decades, but recent improvements have bumped capacity up to 38,805, the largest ever.  The 2009 Fenway Park calendar is complete with pictures of the Monster and of the Hancock Tower in the distance.  The Red Sox plan to add about 1,000 more seats in the next three years as they improve the park.  Due to the added seats, Fenway Park is no longer the smallest in baseball.  That mark now goes to PNC Park, home of the Pittsburgh Pirates.  Some of the new features are seen in this Fenway Park 2009 calendar.  There are proposals to increase capacity to 45,000 by adding an upper deck to the outfield, but nothing has been decided to date.
