They
were originally called the Philadelphia Warriors when they
were founded in 1946. They later took the name San
Francisco and then Golden State in 1971. They play in
Oakland, California in The Arena in Oakland. The 2013
Golden State Warriors calendars show players that now have a
new coach. Don Nelson has signed on with the team,
replacing Michael Montgomery. The Golden State
Warriors have not made the postseason since 1994. They
have won just 34 games the past two seasons, hence the need
