An
expansion team that came into the NBA in 1989 was the
Minnesota Timberwolves. Their greatest player in those
17 years has been Kevin Garnett, their star power forward.
He is seen here in the 2009 Minnesota Timberwolves calendar
rising for a slam dunk. Garnett has not had much help
around him in the past, but now he has Eddie Griffin, Mark
Madsen, Rashad McCants, and Randy Foye to help him out.
In 2004, the Minnesota Timberwolves won their first ever
playoff series. Unfortunately, last season was for
