roadster modified for speed with enormous engines are called
hot rods. The jacked-up or souped-up automobile
appeared in the 1930's, taken from older Model T's and other
Fords. The 2013 Hot Rod calendars are a fascinating
look at the variety of different models. In the
1970's, the street rod came to prominence and the National
Street Rod Association (NSRA) held events. The hot
rods shown in these 2013 calendars are available for sale at
antique shows and classic car dealerships. They cost a
pretty penny if they are in mint condition though. For
the enthusiast on a budget, hot rods in need of some work
