Deep in
the South of the United States is the Magnolia State of
Mississippi. Situated to the east of Arkansas and
Louisiana and to the west of Alabama, Mississippi is home to
riverboat gambling, with casinos dotting the shore of the
Gulf of Mexico. In the 2013 Mississippi calendars, the
cover itself looks out into the Gulf. When Hurricane
Katrina struck in August of 2005, New Orleans suffered a
great deal of damage, but Mississippi was devastated as
well. Many casinos washed up on shore and communities
were destroyed. The state has done well in
recuperating from that storm, but it has a long way to go.
The Wild and Scenic Mississippi 2013 calendars show you why it is important to
get the state back in working order. There is so much
to see and do in this hospitality state. |
