The
Yellow Jackets of the ACC play at Bobby Dodd Stadium at
historic Grant Field. Led by Paul Johnson, the team
posted a 9-3 record in his first year at the helm. The
2013 Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets calendar includes the
schedule for the upcoming season. The team has much
history with former coaches John Heisman and Bobby Dodd.
Heisman, of course, is who the Heisman Trophy is named
after. Dodd was also a former coach and had the
stadium named after him. As noted in the Georgia Tech
2013 football calendar, the stadium was originally named
just Grant Field. The Yellow Jackets did have a rough
beginning in the early 1900's until they decided to hire
John Heisman as head coach. |
