A
great, but problematic wide receiver in the NFL is Randy
Moss. Projected to be drafted #1 overall in the 1998
NFL Draft, Moss fell down to pick #21 because of his
troubled past. In high school, he got in a racial
fight at his high school that sent someone to the hospital.
Moss was sentenced to 30 days in jail. The 2013 Randy
Moss calendars are long past his high school and college
days and show him playing for the Oakland Raiders.
Moss was supposed to go to Notre Dame, but the University
withdrew his acceptance after learning of his transgression.
He then went to Florida State and was redshirted his
freshman year. After being caught smoking pot and
violating his probation, Randy Moss was booted by FSU.
He served another 60 days in jail. Finally, he made it
to Marshall University, then was drafted by the Vikings and
later moved to the Raiders. The Randy Moss 2013
calendar to the right is a smaller version of the first,
able to fit in more places. Since joining the NFL,
Moss' personal problems did not stop right away. He
has an incident in 2002 that included assault with a deadly
weapon and more pot possession. However, in the last
four years, Randy Moss has stayed out of trouble. |
