The
Green Wave football team makes their home in New Orleans,
Louisiana at the Louisiana Superdome. Third year coach
Bob Toledo has struggled to put a winning team on the field,
but he hopes Tulane goes bowling this season for the first
time since a 2002 victory over Hawaii. The 2013 Tulane
Green Wave football calendar rolls the clock back to the
days of Clark Shaughnessy, Bernie Bierman, and Lowell
Dawson. Those coaches led the squad in the olden days.
The Thanksgiving Classic against LSU is the cover photo in
this Tulane Green Wave 2013 calendar. That game was
held in 1929, the year in which Tulane went undefeated.
Despite an invitation to the Rose Bowl that season, they
declined in order to keep students in class. |
