Even
though the series was made over 35 years ago, Monty Python
still gets laughs around the world. It began in the
United Kingdom in 1969 and lasted only four years, but
created an international star in John Cleese and propelled
the others as well. The actors in Monty Python were
John Cleese, Terry Jones, Eric Idle, Graham Chapman, Michael
Palin, and Terry Gilliam. Each went on to enormous
success afterward. This 2013 Monty Python calendar

The show went away in 1973, but three movies followed that
