The New Yorker 2009 Calendars

The New Yorker is a political and satirical magazine that has been published for over 80 years. It began in 1925 and continues to publish 40 issues ever year. Within the pages of The New Yorker is a number of cartoons. This 2009 New Yorker cartoons calendar puts the best of the best together for your enjoyment. Some of these cartoons are difficult to understand and that point was illustrated in one episode of the hit television series Seinfeld. In that episode (which is not in these 2009 calendars), Elaine picks up a copy of The New Yorker, but cannot understand the joke from the cartoon. She brings it around to the other characters, but none of them get the humor either.
