Below are two
Railroads calendars for 2013
from our transportation category. The backbone of the
transportation industry, the rails bring freight & passengers all
over the country. The 2013 Santa Fe Railway
calendar was a classic system in New Mexico. |
Railroads 2013 Calendars
|
An
inexpensive means to carry passengers or goods across the
country over the last two centuries has been rail travel.
In the United States, railroads are used primarily to carry
freight. Passenger service is extremely limited as
compared to other countries. The 2013 Railroads
calendars bring you the famous Santa Fe Railway version and
other locomotives. Railroads traverse many parts of
the world and the scenery can be breathtaking. Those
images are seen in the Railroads 2013 calendars.
Throughout Europe and in Japan, rail travel is available at
speeds well over 100 mph. The world speed record for a
manned train is the JR-Maglev, which topped out at an
astounding 361 mph. This particular railroad system
uses magnetic levitation. We have come a long way
since the traditional rail system. |
