The
empty region of the universe that surrounds the stars,
planets, and moons is known as outer space. It is
considered a perfect vacuum in that it is empty of matter.
However, it is not completely empty of matter as it contains
dark energy and dark matter. This 2013 Space calendar
details moons, planets, and other celestial bodies.
The 2013 calendar provides fun facts as well. H.G.
Wells coined the term "Outer Space" in 1901.
Previously it was just referred to as space, which was so
named in 1667. The Space 2013 calendar contains dozens of photographs and
loads of information. By the time the year is out,
you'll know tons about outer space and all the attributes
that make up the universe. |
