debuted in 2006, High School Musical was the most watched
movie of all time on The Disney Channel. A total of
7.7 million viewers tuned in to watch a film about kids
singing and dancing at their school. The 2013 High
School Musical calendar even included a DVD. The movie
was as popular as the soundtrack, which also became a best
seller that year. The current High School Musical 2013
calendar focuses on the latest installment in the series.
One of the stars of the movie is Vanessa Hudgens, who is now
19 years old. Another is 21-year old Zac Efron and
23-year old Ashley Tisdale. High School Musical 3 was
released on October 24, 2008 in theaters. The film
took in $42 million in the first three days plus another $40
million globally. |
