The
fourteenth political and spiritual leader of Tibet is Tenzin
Gyatso, more commonly known as the Dalai Lama. The
teacher was born on July 6, 1935 in Qinghai to a farming
family. The 2013 Dalai Lama calendar focuses on the
peace-loving, great leader of the oppressed people. It
wasn't until two years old that a search party was sent to
find the next incarnation of the Dalai Lama and found him.
He was pronounced the reincarnation of the previous Dalai
Lama and thus began his journey. His journey is shown
in photographs in the Dalai Lama 2013 calendar. Now an
older man, the Dalai Lama has witnessed a great change in
the history of the world. Although he has been exiled
to India, he has received overwhelming support from the
