Born in the fourteenth century somewhere between 1310 and 1337 is the accomplished poet Hafiz-e Sirazi. Sometimes referred to as Hafex, the Persian mystic lived to about 69 years old and was laid to rest in a tomb in what is now Shiraz, Iran. The 2013 Hafiz calendar shows incredible illustration along with his beautitul poetry. He is often considered one of the greatest poets in history, even to this day. His work continues hundreds of years later with this Hafiz 2013 calendar. It is a remarkable feat that Hafiz's poems live on into the 21st century. His tomb is in public display in Shiraz at the Musalla Gardens.
