The
informal name of Great Britain is used in place of the
United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
The long name is the proper title of the country, but many
people simply refer to it as Britain. The Ireland part
is another story entirely. In the 2013 Great Britain

well as Stonehendge. Great Britain is also the name
for the areas of Wales, Scotland, and England. Those
three are constituent countries of the United Kingdom.
