The
capital of the Province of Quebec is Quebec City, which lies
on the St. Lawrence River in the northeastern part of
Canada. The claim to fame of Quebec City is that it is
the only city in North American that is fortified by walls.
Although the winters are cold, it is still home to 532,000
people, which makes it the 7th largest in all of Canada.
The 2011 Quebec City calendars are in French and English.
French is the language of choice in the city. It was
ruled by the French until 1763. On the cover of the
2011 Quebec City calendars on the right, you will see 'Ville
de Quebec', which is the official name of the city.
Since the early 1940's, it has more than tripled in size. |
