Rock Climbing 2011 Calendars

Beautiful natural rock sculptures comprise this 2011 Sedona Rock Art calendar.  These formations were created by erosion over the course of millions of years.  There are many types of formations, and they can be sedimentary, metamorphic, or igneous rocks.  Geologists have needed to create words to describe the different types of formations, including Inselberg, Butte, and Escarpment.  Many of these structures are in Australia, Asia, and Africa.  The first photograph in the 2011 Sedona Rock Art calendar speaks for itself.  It is located in an uninhabited area, but with an incredible landscape.  Explore the world with these peculiar formations that can occur just about anywhere.
