constituent country in the northern part of the United
Kingdom is Scotland. The capital of the country is
Edinburgh, but the largest city is Glasgow. There are
slightly more than 5 million people living there. In
the 2011 Scotland calendars, the landscapes, rivers,
streams, and mountains are featured. Although it is
not a sovereign state (controlled by UK), Scotland functions
somewhat autonomously. Unfortunately, since it does
not operate independently, it is not represented in the
United Nations. The Scotland 2011 calendars do not
focus on the politics or demographics though. The
calendars concentrate on the exquisite geography of the
land. The country is on the North Sea and the North
Atlantic. |
