The
original Battlestar Galactica was a science fiction movie
and television series that started in 1978. The
original starred Dirk Benedict as Lieutenant Starbuck,
Richard Hatch as Captain Apollo, Lorne Greene as Commander
Adama, and Maren Jensen as Lieutenant Athena. The 2011
Battlestar Galactica calendars feature the new cast that
debuted in 2003 with Edward James Olmos and Mary McDonnell.
The mini-series concluded in 2007 after four seasons,
but the phenomenon lives on with these calendars. The
show can be seen on the Sci-Fi Network. The Battlestar
Galactica 2011 also includes Katee Sackhoff, Jamie Bamber,
the gorgeous supermodel Tricia Helfer as Number Six, and
Grace Park as Lieutenant Sharon Valerii. The humanoid
Cylon models are the biggest distinction between the new
series and the old one. |
