Beginning in the year 2000, Dora the Explorer burst onto the
children's scene. It is a television series geared
toward preschool children. In the 2013 Dora the
Explorer calendars, she goes on adventurous trips with her
friend Boots. Boots is a monkey and her best friend,
but Dora has many other characters to accompany her along
the way. There is Diego, Swiper, and the Fiesta Trio.
Each episode of Dora the Explorer follows a similar pattern.
Dora has somewhere to go with Boots and has to visit three
spots before reaching her final destination. The 2013
Dora the Explorer calendar is great for young kids as they
can learn the days, weeks, and months of the year. The
show has created over $3 billion in its seven seasons.
