Originally broadcast on the Fox network, Futurama was
produced from 1999-2003. 72 episodes were made and the
show then went into syndication. Luckily, Futurama is
coming back on the Comedy Central channel in 2010. It
is one of few television shows that went on hiatus for a
full five years. The 2010 Futurama calendar cover
shows the main animated people of the show. Inside the
calendar, you'll get large photos of Philip Fry, the guy who
transported himself 1,000 years into the future, and Turanga
Leela, the one-eyed girl. We mustn't forget Bender
either, who is shown on the cover of the calendar as the
alcoholic robot. Bender is also Fry's roommate. |
