After
the extraordinarily successful Ice Age movie released in
2002, a sequel was born in 2006 and a third version in 2009.
The sequel was entitled "The Meltdown" and stars Ray Romano,
Denis Leary, Jay Leno, John Leguizamo, and Seann William
Scott doing voices. The 2013 Ice Age 3 calendar shows
Manfred eyeing up an acorn. Ray Romano plays the
woolly mammoth Manfred and John Leguizamo plays Sid the
Megalonyx. Ice Age 3 is rated PG, despite being an
animated film. At the box office, the film raked in
well over $100 million. Worldwide, Ice Age 2 has made
over $650 million. The Meltdown is one for the ages.
Since all three movies were so successful, it could spur
interest in a fourth. |
