Based
on the 1973 novel from William Goldman, this fairy-tale
begins with Fred Savage as a little boy and Peter Falk
(grandfather) reading him a story. It then moves to
the adventure with Cary Elwes, Robin Wright, Andre the
Giant, and Mandy Patinkin playing lead roles. The 2013
Princess Bride calendar takes a variety of scenes from the
motion picture for each month. There are also
appearances by Billy Crystal and Carol Kane, who play
Miracle Max and his wife Valerie. Even some of the bad
guys are included in this Princess Bride 2013 calendar.
There is Christopher Guest as Count Rugen, Chris Sarandon as
Prince Humperdinck, and Wallace Shawn as Vizzini. The
Princess Bride has been rated one of the funniest films of
all time. Bravo currently lists it as #50 in their top
100 funny movies. |
