Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig Posters
|
Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig were two of the greatest baseball players that ever lived. This rare photo of them together in their Yankee glory is a keepsake for all baseball fans. Babe Ruth is considered by many to be ther greatest ever. He was both a pitcher and batter for the Boston Red Sox from 1914-1919. Babe Ruth was then sold to the New York Yankees where he played there for 15 years. It was there that Babe Ruth teamed with Lou Gehrig. Lou Gehrig played on the Yankees from 1923-1939. Lou Gehrig was forced to retire due to a rare disease called ALS that took his life two years after his retirement. |
