The great Vince Lombardi was the coach of the Green Bay
Packers and is considered by some to be the greatest
football coach of all time. He is seen here in this
print explaining how to be #1 and what it takes to get
there. Vince Lombardi was born in 1913 and passed away
in 1970. In between, he coached the Green Bay Packers
to three consecutive championships in 1965, 1966, and 1967.
Lombardi got his start playing semi-pro football and
coaching a high school team. He is the only football
coach to lead a team to three straight titles. Vince
Lombardi did not coach long, however. He was coach of Green Bay only from 1958 - 1967. |
