Lake George Posters

Lake George is now a great vacation spot. It is located at the base of the Adirondack Mountains in New York State. Lake George flows into Lake Champlain, which runs along the borders of Vermont and New York, just before the Canadian border. Georgia O'Keeffe is well known for here drawings of nature and these posters show the landscape as well as an up close view of the leaves. The history of Lake George dates back to the late 1700's and is named after King George of Great Britain. The British army occupied the area in 1775 during the French & Indian War and set up a fort at the southern base.
