Augusta
National is home to The Masters, one of golf's 4 majors and
most recently won by Tiger Woods. Tiger also won The
Masters in 1997 by a record 12 shots to win his first
major at the age of 21. It market the first time a person of color had
ever won The Masters. Up until the 1970's, the powers
that be at Augusta National would
not even allow minorities to play. The course is one of the most beautiful in the world, but the private club is well known for it's exclusionary policies.
The Augusta National fine art print shows the illustrious 12th hole, with the
bridge that takes you across to the green. It is
located deep in the south of Georgia. |
