One of the best spots in all of Orange County, Huntington
beach for surfers has become famous over the years.
Huntington Pier has become such a popular destination that a live Surf Cam has been installed to allow web users from around the world see what the fuss is about.
The community in southern California has a population of
about 190,000. The waves on Huntington Pier are a natural occurrence that
are generated by Catalina island. It is the location
for the annual world surfing championships. The pier
itself that you see here has been rebuilt three times due to
storm surges. This is the fourth version of Huntington
Ppier. |
