Braveheart Castle Posters

The award winning film, Braveheart, was made in 1995 and starred Mel Gibson as the Scottish rebel William Wallace.  Braveheart also starred Sophie Marceau as Princess Isabelle and Patrick McGoohan as Longshanks, King Edward I.  Braveheart is set in thirteenth century Scotland and William Wallace leads an uprising against the English, who are wrongfully ruling Scotland.  Wallace wants his country to be free of the tyrannical rule of Longshanks and brings his people together to fight.  In the end, William Wallace is captured and killed, but his legacy remained, as he even convinced Robert the Bruce to fight for Scotland.
