Phantom of the Opera Posters

The movie that was just released in 2004 starred Gerard Butler as The Phantom and Emmy Rossum as Christine.  There are also performances by Minnie Driver and Miranda Richardson.  It is an adaptation of the award winning musical by Andrew Lloyd Webber.  The story is about a disfigured man who lives in the sewer beneath the Paris Opera House who falls for Christine, one of the opera singers.  He terrorized the rest of the singers and cast and attempts to get Christine more prominent roles.  Christine later runs into an old friend and they quickly fall in love.  The Phantom is angered by this and kidnaps her.
