This is a romantic movie that stars Rachel McAdams as a young Allie Hamilton, Ryan Gosling as Noah Calhoun and Gena Rowlands as Allie Calhoun. The movie starts with an old man reading a book to an old lady about a love story of two young people, Allie and Noah. Allie comes from a wealthy family and her parents do not approve of Noah's poor roots. They take her away and she eventually gets engaged to another man. However, she still has strong feelings for Noah and when she sees his picture in a local paper, she must go see him to see if there is anything left.
