The first one was created in 1964 and was shown to the
American public as a 1965 model at the World's Fair.
The amount of popularity over the coming years for this car
was overwhelming. The GT 500 is the most sought after
car, as a limited number were ever made. The second
generation of Mustangs were in the 1970's and in 1982 the GT
was re-introduced to the public. In 1994, the design
of the car changed for the first time in a long time and
then again in 1999 as a 260 horsepower model came out.
Now, in 2005, a fully equipped Mustang GT has 300 horsepower
and a 4.6 liter V8 engine. |
