Say Anything became a cult movie back in the 1980's and made John Cusack famous. The movie debuted in 1989 and also starred Cameron Crowe and Ione Skye as Diane Court. John Cusack's character falls head over heals with the valedictorian of his class, and even though he is a complete slacker and underachiever, he tries to get the girl. The film was one of John Cusack's best in the 1980's and was one in a series of hit, cult favorites at the time. John Cusack also performed in classics such as "Sixteen Candles", "One Crazy Summer", and "Better Off Dead." He has gone on to other films in his adult life, such as "Serendipity" in 2001 and "Must Love Dogs" in 2005.
