Hillary Rodham was born in October of 1947 in Park Ridge, Illinois. She attended Wellesley College, an all women's school, and graduated in 1969 as the valedictorian. Rodham's speech at graduation was featured in an article in Life magazine. She went on to Yale Law School, where she met Bill Clinton. Hillary Rodham graduated from Yale in 1973 with a J.D. Two years later, Hillary married Bill Clinton and moved to Arkansas. She joined a prestigious law firm and in 1978, Bill was elected the governor of the state. Fourteen years later, Bill won election as President and Hillary Clinton became the first lady for the next eight years. However, having ambition of her own, she ran and was elected Senator of New York in 2000. Hillary Clinton is likely to run for the presidency in 2008.
