A rock and roll group that rose to stardom in the 1990's behind lead man Eddie Vedder.
They were created in Seattle during the grunge days
of the early 1990's. Their first album, "Ten"
sold millions and millions of copies. They
were one of the most influential and popular bands
at the end of the 20th century and into the 21st.
Their concerts still sell out immediately and they
play before packed houses all over the world.
The current group consists of Eddie Vedder, Matt
Cameron, Mike McCready, Stone Gossard, and Jeff
Ament. There have been four other members
before this 2005 lineup. At one point, they
took on the powerful TicketMaster and alleged that
they controlled an unfair monopoly.
