The
classic Allman Brothers Band was formed in 1969 in Macon,
Georgia. They have broken up two times, in 1976 and
then again in 1982. The Allman Brothers Band t-shirt
is taken from their "Eat a Peach" album. The original
members were Duane and Gregg Allman, along with Berry
Oakley, Jai Johanny "Jaimoe" Johanson, Butch Trucks, and
Dickey Betts. The "Eat a Peach" album was one of their
most successful and is a typical depiction in these Allman
Brothers t-shirts. In 1989, the band revived
themselves with many of the original members. Duane
Allman and Berry Oakley have passed away, but the Allman
Brothers Band lives on into the 21st century. |
