A group
formed from a collection of other popular bands is called
Angels and Airwaves. The members are Tom Delonge of
Blink-182 fame, David Kennedy of Box Car Racer, Atom Willard
of Offspring, and Ryan Simm of Distillers. The Angels
and Airwaves t-shirts show the three letter A's as their
logo. The group was created in 2005, but did not
release their first single until May of 2006. The
first and only album to date from Angels and Airwaves is
called "We Don't Need to Whisper" and has gone as high as #4
on the U.S. charts. The Angels and Airwaves t-shirt on
the left shows a version of the album cover. The group
has sold over 1.6 million copies already. |
