The heavy metal group Iron Maiden was formed in England in 1975. It's members include Bruce Dickinson, Dave Murray, Adrian Smith, Janick Gers, Steve Harris, and Nicko McBrain. Bruce Dickinson was the lead vocalist. Iron Maiden is still together and they went back in to the studio to record a new album. That album is scheduled to be released in the fall of 2006. Iron Maiden has sold over 60 million albums and is one of the most successful hard rock bands of all time. Most of their success occurred in the early 1980's. Their self-titled album and the album "Killers" became wildly successful and Iron Maiden went on to tour with "Kiss".
These classic Iron Maiden t-shirts show the badn in their
glory days. In the late 1980's and into the 1990's the band declined into relative obscurity. Many members went on to do different projects in that time. In the early 21st century, Iron Maiden got back together and has been touring sporadically in the last six years. |
