Here
are two I Support a Fait Tax t-shirts from our
conservative, Republican, GOP category. These t-shirts
go on to say that they do not support any income tax, which is a
hotly debated issue. The Fair Tax t-shirts feature the
income tax crossed out.
The
Republican Party is well known for wanting lower taxes and
income taxes are usually at the forefront of their focus.
Many conservatives would prefer that there be no income tax
whatsoever. These Support Fair Tax t-shirts use the
issue to promote a tax on other areas. There are other
ways to tax citizens that give them a choice in the matter.
For example, a sales tax without an income tax would put the
onus on the individual. The difference is that there
is no tax unless you choose to purchase something.
These t-shirts don't say all that, but they do imply taxing
something other than income.
