George Bush ran for President in 2000 and again in 2004, his
campaign merchandise, including buttons, bumper stickers,
and t-shirts had a very similar pattern to the shirts above.
The 'W stands for Worst' t-shirts reflect a sentiment
that President George W. Bush is the worst president in the
history of America. With the war in Iraq, torture,
holding Americans without charges or trial, illegal
wiretapping, the immigration problem, and more, it is an
easy case to make against him. These 'W' t-shirts
already label him as the worst ever. His approval
rating has a low of 29%, which is still above the 24% level
of Richard Nixon and the 27% level of Jimmy Carter.
With over two years left as President, he may get into the
teens. The Vice President already is at 19%. |
