The
city of five seasons with a population of 120,000 is Cedar
Rapids. The fifth season that is implied is the time
to enjoy the other four of fall, winter, spring and summer.
On the Cedar Rapids t-shirts, you'll discover a retro woman
and views from the glorious town. There are sculptures
in the downtown area and elsewhere that stick to the theme
of the five seasons, so the motto permeates throughout.

Rapids is that there is an island on the Cedar River that
runs through the city. The island has a number of
